The ability to desist from self serving agenda in a leadership role is not evident. It takes self-control, self confidence and total abnegation to forge inclusive agenda to empower others. While Africa is in desperate search for leadership, this may birth from harnessing values of humility, hard work, merit, self esteem and dedication. Education and mentoring of more women and youth into conscious leadership roles seems a vital option. At ACC, we advocate the need to serve the course and not serve self.
